Zusammenfassung
Das Sprunggelenk, und insbesondere das obere Sprunggelenk (OSG) ist neben dem Kniegelenk am häufigsten von Verletzungen und Überlastungen betroffen. Die MRT des OSG ist zunehmend bedeutungsvoller geworden aufgrund der guten Kontrastauflösung, der Darstellung nativradiologisch occulter Läsionen sowie der Aufdeckung unerwarteter Pathologien. Dabei ist neben dem hohen Gewebekontrast vor allem die Darstellung in beliebigen Bildebenen (sagittal, coronar, axial, angulierte Ebenen) ein Vorteil gegenüber der CT.
