Der „Schlaganfall“ ist eine akute Erkrankung auf dem Boden eines pathologischen Prozesses der Blutgefäße im Zentralnervensystem (Gefäßruptur oder -verschluss bzw. -einengung) oder durch Veränderung der Fließeigenschaften des Blutes mit einer Vielzahl klinischer Manifestationsformen und hieraus resultierenden differentialdiagnostischen und differentialtherapeutischen Anforderungen.
