Zusammenfassung

Die arteriovenöse Fistel nach Nephrektomie ist eine ungewöhnlich, aber gut bekannte Komplikation nach einem einfachen chirurgischen Eingriff. Seit der ersten Beschreibung durch Hollingsworth 1934 [1] sind 72 Fälle in der Literatur beschrieben worden [1–11]. Im Folgenden wird ein seltener Fall im Kindesalter beschrieben, bei dem die Fistel erfolgreich durch Katheterembolisation behandelt werden konnte.
