Abstract

The goal of the following is to give an introduction to gel microdrop encapsulation methodologies and to describe how to make microdrops using, mainly, basic laboratory equipment. The encapsulation procedure described is a modification of previously published protocols tailored to meet the needs of investigators with limited budgets.
