Abstract
There are many disorders, either neoplastic or non- neoplastic, that give rise to focal splenic tumoral lesions. Since most of these disorders are discussed extensively in other chapters of this book, the main topic of this chapter is inflammatory pseudotumors of the spleen. Miscellaneous disorders (other than neoplastic, infectious, vascular or systemic disorders) that may cause tumoral lesions in the spleen (thus mimicking primary splenic neoplasm, metastatic disease or lymphomatous infiltration) are also discussed briefly.
