Abstract

The primary electron transfer kinetics were determined for the first time in core antenna - reaction center complexes from photosystem I of wild-type Synechocystis sp. pee 6803 containing about 100 chlorophylls, by comparing femtosecond pump-probe profiles for samples with open and closed reaction centers.
