Zusammenfassung

Hautveränderungen stellen sehr oft das erste klinische Zeichen zugrunde liegender Systemerkrankungen dar. Dies gilt in erster Linie für die mehr oder weniger charakteristischen Exantheme und Enantheme von Infektionserkrankungen, deren Morphologie auf den Erreger hinweist. Hautveränderungen können auch einen ersten Hinweis auf endokrinologische Erkrankungen wie Diabetes mellitus (Xerose, trophische Störungen, Necrobiosis lipoidica), HypoHyperthyreose [(prätibiales) Myxödem, reduzierte Hauttemperatur], Morbus Addison (Bronzefärbung der Haut) und viele andere mehr geben. Eine Facies hypertonica weist auf eine Störung des Herz-Kreislauf- Systems hin, und Lidödeme können erstes Zeichen einer eingeschränkten Nierenfunktion sein. Die Liste von Hautveränderungen - sie ließe sich noch beliebig weiterführen - unterstreicht die Wichtigkeit dermatologischer Fachkenntnisse im klinischen Alltag.
