Zusammenfassung

Der systemische Lupus erythematodes (SLE) ist eine chronisch-entzündliche Erkrankung, die durch Produktion von Antikörpern und andere immunologische Störungen charakterisiert ist und klinisch mehrere Organe wie Haut, Gelenke, Lunge, Herz, Nervensystem und Nieren befallen kann (Ponticelli et al. 1998). Von der American Rheumatism Association wurden bestimmte diagnostische Kriterien für den SLE vorgeschlagen (Tan et al. 1982), die aber nicht immer gleichzeitig erfüllt sein müssen, sodass manche Autoren ihre Anwendung für das Kindesalter infrage stellen (Cameron 1994, Lehman u. Mouradian 1999).
