Abstract
When you analyze the processes which take place during the differentiation of the adrenal gland interrenal tissue in the grass snake at early ontogenetic stages, you can compare your results only with the studies conducted on reptile embryos at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries or refer to data obtained during the research on the development of the adrenal in other vertebrates, particularly on amphibians and mammals.
