Zusammenfassung
Das Gesamtrisiko eines intraoperativen Herz-Kreislauf-Stillstandes setzt sich aus dem Operationsrisiko, dem Anästhesierisiko und den patienteneigenen Risiken zusammen. Die Diagnose „intraoperativer Herz- Kreislauf-Stillstand“ muss sofort gestellt werden und beruht neben der Überwachung des EKG auf einfachen Untersuchungsmethoden, wie Inspektion und Palpation. Da ein Sistieren der kardialen Pumpfunktion am EKG-Monitor nicht immer erkannt werden kann (z. B.„pulseless electrical activity“, technische Fehler), kommt der sorgfältigen Beurteilung von klinischen Zeichen größte Bedeutung zu.
