Zusammenfassung

Seit der ersten therapeutischen Anwendung durch Leon Goldman Anfang der 60er Jahre sind Laser zu einem festen Bestandteil der Dermatotherapie geworden. Heute stehen mehr als 20 verschiedene Systeme zur Auswahl, die sich hinsichtlich Wellenlänge, Expositionszeit, Strahldurchmesser und anderer physikalischer Parameter und damit auch hinsichtlich der Effekte auf die Haut unterscheiden. Wurden zu Beginn der Lasertherapie vor allem Naevi flammei und Tätowierungen behandelt, zählen heute mehr als 20 unterschiedliche Gefäß-fehl- und Neubildungen und über 50 nichtvaskuläre Veränderungen zu den möglichen Indikationen [15].
