Abstract
Tumor prevention is gathering momentum, and conferences such as this one help to provide new insights, crossfertilize laboratory and clinical research projects, and acquaint participants with the people leading the field. This 3day conference, the second in St. Gallen, attracted 270 participants from 30 countries. The conference was cosponsored by the International Society of Cancer Chemoprevention (President: F. Meysken, Irvine, United States), the European School of Oncology (Director: A. Costa, Pavia, Italy) and by the local host, St. Gallen Oncology Conferences, represented by H.J. Senn and R. Morant (St. Gallen, Switzerland).
