Abstract
Lymphoma and metastasis of the stomach are not quite common. Since the lymphoma and metastasis of the stomach have different treatment options and prognosis from gastric adenocarcinoma, it is important to differentiate these diseases from gastric adenocarcinoma. Even though there are some overlapping of the radiologic features between these two diseases and gastric adenocarcinoma, lymphoma and metastasis of the stomach have quite specific imaging features. Recently, due to the advances of CT techniques including virtual gastroscopy, shaded surface display, and adequate stomach CT protocol with the use of various oral contrast media, MDCT is widely accepted as a primary imaging modality of the stomach; meanwhile the fluoroscopic-guided barium study is less common for the initial workup of the stomach. Thus, we will present the radiologic imaging features for the lymphoma and metastasis of the stomach on MDCT, especially focused on the differential points from stomach adenocarcinoma.
