Zusammenfassung
Schon als Kinder wurden wir geführt, auch wenn auf den Visitenkarten unserer Eltern, Kindergärtnerinnen oder Lehrer nicht Erziehungsmanager stand. Der Begriff Manager wird inzwischen inflationär gebraucht. Bankberater sind jetzt Finanzmanager, Teamleiter von Reinigungskolonnen zu Facility-Managern geworden. Hier soll es aber nicht um Betriebsführung oder Personalverwaltung gehen, sondern um Personalführung – deswegen sprechen wir auch von Führung und nicht von Management. Führung bedeutet im betrieblichen Kontext die absichtliche Einflussnahme auf andere Menschen zum Zweck der gemeinsamen Aufgabenerfüllung. Im Volksmund hat sich der Witz breitgemacht, Personalführung sei die Kunst, Mitarbeiter so schnell über den Tisch zu ziehen, dass sie die Reibungshitze als Nestwärme empfinden. Gute Führung ist jedoch anders.
