The climate is temperate Marine climate, is abundant with lead-zinc deposit. It covers 68.9 thousand of square kilometers and has a population of 4.58 million. Its GDP reaches $217.27 billion in 2011. Through the index system and evaluation model, the environment competitiveness index of Ireland ranks at 51 in 133 countries.
