Abstract

Cameroon is a country in west Central Africa. It is bordered by Nigeria to the west; Chad to the northeast; the Central African Republic to the east; and Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Republic of the Congo to the south. Its total area is 472.7 thousand of square kilometers. The gross population was 20.03 million, with GDP reaching USD 25.24 billion in 2011. Based on the index system of global environment competitiveness, comprehensive analysis on factors and indictors indicates that environment competitiveness index of Cameroon ranks at 75 among 133 countries.
