Abstract

Slovak Republic is a landlocked state in Central Europe.It covers 48.1 thousand square kilometres and is bordered by the Czech Republic and Austria to the west, Poland to the north, Ukraine to the east and Hungary to the south. There are four somewhat different climates in Slovakia. It covers 48.1 thousand of square kilometers and has a population of 5.40 million. Its GDP reaches $95.99 billion in 2011. Through the index system and evaluation model, the environment competitiveness index of Slovak ranks at 13 in 133 countries.
