Abstract

Serbia is a landlocked country located at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe, Serbia borders Hungary to the north, Romania and Bulgaria to the east, the Republic of Macedonia to the south, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro to the west. It covers 87.5 thousand of square kilometers and has a population of 7.26 million. Its GDP reaches $45.82billion in 2011. Through the index system and evaluation model, the environment competitiveness index of Serbia ranks at 108 in 133 countries.
