Abstract
Dark circles, or symmetric darkening of the eyelid area, affect men and women of all races. Dark circles are among the several challenging pigmentary disorders that are more pronounced in skin of color patients. There are multiple described explanations for dark circles; however, systematic understanding and effective treatment remain limited.
