Abstract

Before businesses can solve the challenges presented in this book, the differences between static complexity and dynamic complexity must be understood. In this chapter we examine complexity from several viewpoints to understand why large numbers dominates complexity when anything other than a very simple system is investigated. This provides context for later chapters that explain how the interaction of components through their connections produce dynamic complexity.

If you’re not confused, you’re not paying attention.
