Ohrnahes, kratzendes, herzaktionssynchrones Reibegeräusch, welches durch Aneinanderreiben meist fibrinös veränderter Perikardblätter entsteht und das gewöhnlich leicht von „eigentlichen“ (d. h. innerhalb der Herzkammern entstehenden) Herzgeräuschen zu unterscheiden ist.
