Graph Coloring-Based Clock Synchronization for Clustering Underwater Sensor Networks

Conference paper
Part of the Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering book series (LNEE, volume 295)

A graph coloring-based clock synchronization algorithm is proposed for clustering underwater sensor networks. It divides the nodes in deployment area into clusters, adjacent clusters that adapt different frequencies based on graph coloring principle to avoid interference. This method improves the efficiency of pairwise-based underwater clock synchronization algorithm. The simulation results show its feasibility.
