Abstract

We begin with this chapter the transcendental and topological treatment of algebraic varieties defined over the complex field, omitting the more familiar part of this subject which one may find in well-known treatises {see Hodge [a]; De Rham-Kodaira [a]; De Rham [a]; Lichnerowicz [a]; Segre [c]; moreover see the works: Garabedian-Spencer [1, 2]; Kodaira [1]; Eckmann [1, 2]; Eckmann-Guggenheimer [1]; Guggenheimer [1]; Hodge [10]}.
