Zusammenfassung
Das in der elementaren Geometrie allgemein übliche Gradmaß d. h. die Teilung eines rechten Winkels in 90°, eines Vollwinkels in 360° ist für andere Gebiete der Mathematik, insbesondere die Analysis, ungeeignet. Man führt dort ein anderes Maß, das sog. Bogenmaß ein, das natürlich so gewählt wird, daß es zum Gradmaß proportional ist1).
