Statistical Data Analysis Using a Data Base for Experiment Design and Systems Identification

  • Conference paper
Compstat 1984

Abstract

In the paper the approach to the problem-solving in the areas of experiment design and system identification is presented. The main principles of the system EXPES-NET such as functional framework, dialogue and distributed data base are discussed and an example of multistage identification at mechanical engineering laboratory using the approach proposed is given. Distributed environment gives the ability to handle the problems of increased complexity and intristic decentralised nature.
