Statistical Analysis of Mixed Linear Models with Inhomogeneous Variances

Summary

We present an easy way of extending estimation of unknown parameters and prediction of random effects to mixed linear models where random effects have inhomogeneous variances. This method is part of an interactive computer programm AMP 84 which handles arbitrarily unbalanced nested classification ANOVA models.
