The international symposium on Acquisition, Analysis and Use of Clinical Transplant Data, held in Heidelberg, October 29–31, 1986, brought together physicians, statisticians and computer scientists from 12 countries in Europe and North America. The intention was to provide an interdisciplinary forum for discussion of current issues and trends in clinical transplant research.
