Abstract

We will return later to the problem of constructing algorithms to locate completely-labelled simplices. Here we give some examples of the use of Brouwer’s theorem in problems of interest. Of course, the existence result is less important to us than the construction of a function whose fixed points solve the given problem. We will also see some limitations of Brouwer’s theorem that may suggest extensions.
