Zusammenfassung

Am ersten Tausend implantierten Intraokularlinsen wird über die Entwicklung der Implantologie und den Übergang zur extrakapsulären Kataraktextraktion an der Augenklinik in Ústí nad Labem berichtet. Im Jahr 1987 wurden 342 Kataraktoperationen und in der ersten Hälfte des Jahres 1991 354 Kataraktoperationen durchgeführt. Die intraokulare Linse wurde 1987 in 13,2% der Fälle, in der ersten Hälfte 1991 in 82,8% der Fälle eingepflanzt. Die extrakapsuläre Technik der Kataraktextraktion wurde im 1987 in 12,9% der Fälle und in der ersten Hälfte 1991 in 96,9% der Fälle angewandt. Bei 73,9% der Patienten wurde die Sehschärfe 0,5 und besser in der 6 monatlichen Beobachtungsdauer erzielt.

Summary

The authors report the results of the first 1000 intraocular lens (IOL) implantations and the development of extracapsular catarct extraction (ECCE). In 1987 342 cataract operations was performed and the number of cataract operations was 354 in the first half 1991. IOL was implanted in 13.2% of cases in 1987 and in 82.8% of cases in the first half 1991. ECCE was performed in 12.9% of cases in 1987 and in 96.9% of cases in the first half 1991. Visual acuity was in 73.9% of patients 0.5 and better 6 months after the surgery.
