Comparison of long-term effects of saluretics an anabolic steroids on renal functions

Abstract

The benzothiadiazine diuretics are used by persons with varying degrees of reduced renal function over long periods, often without close medical supervision. It would therefore be of considerable practical value to determine whether their long-term use depresses any of the main renal functions.
