Abstract

Biopsies of various organs from 3000 patients were studies morphologically following operations with the aid of CO2, NdYAG and Argaon lasers in abdominal purulent and plastic surgeries as well as endoscopic recanalisation of obstructive tumors of the eosophagous and rectum. In the area of the laser injury of different tissues the coagulative thermal necrosis about 60 mcm takes place. The general width of the thermal damages in biological tissues is 132 + 18,3 mcm. The pecularities of laser wounds healing are the absence of the demarcation leucocytic infiltration at the tissues adjacent to the area of the thermal necrosis. The application of the high power laser irradiation (CO2, NdYAG, Argon) for the treatment of purulent wounds Of soft tissues and for the abdominal surgery leafds to the reduction of exudative phase of inflammatory reaction and to the healing of these wounds in a type of an aseptic productive inflammation. The same type of an inflammatory rection developes during the treatment of different diseases (gastric and duodenum ulcers, ischemic heart diseases, trauma etc.) by means of low laser irradiation (GaAs laser-diode 2 W, 80–1500 Hz). The macrophagel cells play an important role in the formation and progress of reparative process. Their proliferation was observed at the end of the 1st day after laser treatment. The granulation tissue to the 3rd day after laser treatment was formed. The whole regeneration of biological tissues was completed to 30 day after exposure to laser and limited from the degree of the differentiation of the granulative tissue into the fibrous one.
