Zusammenfassung
Im rechten und linken Vorhof des Herzens liegt in Form der myoendokrinen Zellen ein endokrines Organ vor (1, 2, 5, 10). Über die Funktion dieser endokrinsekretorischen Zellen wird in mehreren neuen Arbeiten diskutiert, die Frage nach dem adäquaten Stimulus für die Freisetzung kardialer Hormone ist jedoch nicht endgültig geklärt. Nach Untersuchungen verschiedener Arbeitsgruppen spielen hierbei die Überdehnung der Herzvorhöfe durch Volumenbelastung (8) sowie der Elektrolytwasserhaushalt (9) eine wesentliche Rolle, aber auch an einen neurogenen Sekretionsmechanismus über sympathische oder vagale Fasern muß gedacht werden (7). Morphologische Untersuchungen über die Auswirkungen einer akuten Volumenbelastung auf die myoendokrinen Zellen und damit ihr Zustand unter atrialer Dilatation liegen bisher nur aus vorläufigen Arbeiten unserer Arbeitsgruppe vor (6, 11). Wir führten deshalb weitere Untersuchungen an Wistar-Ratten durch, bei denen durch Volumenbelastung und Volumenentlastung eine Stimulation bzw. eine Inhibition der myoendokrinen Zellen der Herzvorhöfe hervorgerufen wurde.
