Abstract

The interactive data analysis and graphics language S (Becker, Chambers and Wilks, 1988) has become a popular environment for both data analysts and research statisticians. A common complaint, however, has concerned the lack of statistical modeling tools, such as those provided by GLIMĀ© or GENSTATĀ©.
