Abstract

We consider a system of absolutely rigid bodies (rigid blocks) and thin deformable layers which distinguish the neighboring blocks. Such a system allows us to model (in many cases) the processes that characterize the lithosphere dynamics, rock mechanics and some important engineering constructions such as dams, mines, buildings etc.
