Abstract
As progress continues to be made in the medicinal treatment of hypertension, there are two main questions which arise with regard to surgical therapy: firstly, how effective is such therapy and, secondly, what role is it still capable of playing in the management of hypertension ? It is these two questions which we shall now attempt to answer in the light of our own experience.
