Summary
Cranial MR studies of patients with histologically proven neoplasms and intracranial enhancing lesions or involvement of cranial vault were assessed for abnormalities of leptomeninges. Segmental or generalized thickening of the membranes, and intraventricular nodules were most frequently observed. Meningeal involvement occurred adjacent to existing parenchymal or vault tumor, or distantly, without anatomical contiguity.
