Abstract
Between January, 1972, and March, 1973, we have been conducting a phase 2 study of cis-platinum (II) diamminedichloride (PDD) in the treatment of patients suffering from adenocarcinoma of the ovary. In addition we have treated 6 patients with disseminated malignant melanoma, 2 with soft tissue sarcoma and one each with lymphoma, hypernephroma and testicular teratoma. This report reviews the preliminary results in 25 patients with ovarian tumours.
