Abstract

The motivation for psychologists to do research on aggression seems to be rather simple and homogeneous: nearly every introduction or preface of a monograph on aggressive behavior refers to the social importance and urgency of providing knowledge on the origins of this kind of behavior and contributing to the solution of social problems concerning aggression and violence.
