Abstract
The topic which we propose to discuss in the following chapters is the eigenvector-eigenvalue problem for square matrices, introduced in Section 1–2.1. As a preliminary, however, it will be convenient to develop some graph-theoretical tools, and establish the properties of certain classes of matrices.
