Summary

Computer-assisted decision support is very important to process the multi-dimensional NMR-information (NMR: Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) in parameter-selective NMR-Imaging. New segmentation algorithms and a tissue data base are the essential software tools to support analysis and interpretation of NMR-images. The presented segmentation algorithms in combination with the tissue data base lead to a comfortable and quick handling of tissue specific information. Algorithms and tissue data base have been integrated in the Software-System RAMSES (RWTH Aachen Magnetic Resonance Software System).
