Zusammenfassung
Kreislaufwirkungen von Opiaten sind bekannt, Scit diese für die Schmerzbekämpfung angewendet werden. Genauere Untersuchungen zur Bedeutung dieser Wirkungen und der zu Grunde liegenden Mechanismen nahmen aber erst in der jüngsten Vergangenheit ihren Anfang. Bahnbrechend hierfür war a) die Entdeckung der endogenen Opioide Met-Enkephalin, Leu-Enkephalin und β-Endorphin (Hughes et al., 1975, Bradbury et al., 1976), b) die Auffindung spezifischer Rezeptoren (Pert and Snyder 1973, Simon et al., 1975), c) der immunohistochemische und radioimmunologische Nachweis von opioider Aktivität in Hirnarealen, die für die Blutdruckregulation relevant sind (Hök-felt et al., 1977, 1978, Watson and Barchas 1979) sowie d) pharmakologische Untersuchungen der Blutdruckwirkung exogen zugeführter Opiat-Antagonisten und Agonisten (Laubie et al., 1974; Feldberg and Wei, 1978; Schaz et al., 1980; Yuikimura et al., 1981). Infolge dieser Befunde wurde für das Opiatsystem neben den adrenergen, cholinergen, serotonergen und dopaminergen Systemen eine wichtige Rolle bei der Blutdruckregulation vermutet.
