Zusammenfassung

„Der hohe Anteil HIV-infizierter Patienten mit Haut- und Mundschleimhauterscheinungen unterstreicht die Bedeutung einer Vorstellung der Patienten bei Dermatologen und Zahnärzten zur Untersuchung.“ Diese Aussage von Sindrup [28] macht deutlich, welcher Stellenwert dem Hautarzt im Zusammenhang mit dem AIDS-Problem zukommt Mit Goodman et al. [5] kann man die bislang im Zusammenhang mit AIDS beschriebenen Hauterkrankungen drei großen Gruppen zuordnen, nämlich „Infektionen“, „Neoplasien“ und „Sonstigen“.
