Die IBM Corporation ist in üiber 120 Ländern mit mehr als 300.000 Mitarbeitern tätig. Der Umsatz im Geschäftsjahr 1986 belief sich auf etwa 51 Mrd. US $. Der Umsatz der IBM Deutschland lag im letzten Jahr bei 12 Mrd. DM.
