Zusammenfassung
Jeder fünfte Patient, der ins Krankenhaus eingewiesen wird, ist alkoholkrank (12). Die Prävalenz alkoholkranker Patienten in operativen Kliniken ist dabei nicht geringer als in neurologisch/psychiatrischen Einrichtungen (12). Patienten mit einem Tumor des oberen Gastrointestinaltraktes oder nach einem Trauma sind sogar zur Hälfte alkoholkrank (3, 16, 19, 20, 27, 28). Diese Patienten sind als Hoch-Risiko-Patienten aufgrund ihrer Alkoholkrankheit anzusehen (16, 27).
