Abstract
Since the 3rd plenary meeting of the Central Committee elected by the 11th Congress of the Communist Party of China, held in December 1978, China has taken a promising political turn, seeming to break with the abnormal circumstances and phenomena existing for more than two decades in the socieconomic and political-ideological development of the most heavily populated country of the world. This put China on its way to creating a modern society, conforming to the requirements of the late twentieth century and adapting organically to the system of international relations.
