Zusammenfassung

Die Behandlung des idiopathischen Blepharospasmus mit orofazialer Dystonie (Meige-Syndrom, 6) ist unbefriedigend. Die Ursache dieser motorischen Störung ist unklar; man diskutiert ein Ungleichgewicht der Neurotransmitter in den Basalganglien mit dopaminerger relativer oder absoluter Überaktivität (12), möglicherweise auf dem Boden einer lokalen Stimulation dopaminerger Rezeptoren.
