Abstract
Electrocardiogram (ECG), heart sound, and carotid pulse as physiologic signals vary widely, not only among different individuals but also in a single individual under different circumstances. Four points in these signals are used to compute the systolic time intervals (STI) (1). The several definitions of these points result in different values for STI.
