Abstract
Developing and manufacturing complex vehicles today creates an increasing amount of information and knowledge that is by far not stored in a single data source. The challenge of knowledge retrieval in complex information landscapes has been approached at BMW with the help of semantic search technologies and a user oriented design of the “Knowledge Finder”, in order to truly connect unstructured and structured data sources semantically.
