Abstract
This article describes the development and structure of the courses and educational activities that are part of doctoral supervision education at Karolinska Institutet , Stockholm, Sweden, and evaluates the participants’ attitudes to these. Before doing that, the author sets doctoral supervision education within a local but also a larger context in order to better understand the current shift on the requirement of supervision skills occurred during the last decade.
