Abstract
Adipocytic tumors have a wide spectrum from benign to aggressive sarcomas. A very common benign tumor of adipose tissue—namely lipoma—and its subtypes will be discussed in this chapter. Nevus lipomatosus superficialis, which is characterized by adipose tissue in the dermis, is also included. Sarcomas originating from fat tissue are discussed in the chapter on cutaneous sarcomas.
